On a side note, I missed the event that would have been my 100th post. Kinda funny that it was basically a ridiculous chocolate bar and a classic vanity plate. Thanks for tuning in and caring.

FIDDLEHEADS!
Spring/Summer means fiddlehead time. I have to eat these things at least once a year. Vic's always has the best produce and they had them so I had to get them. There were also some fresh local tomatoes so it was time for a nice fresh pasta dish. Here is linguini with a fresh spicy tomato sauce, fiddleheads and veggie chicken.
This little guy is easy to create. Get some water boiling for your pasta. Sautee the veggie chicken and then let it rest before slicing it up. Dice a small onion and a jalapeno and sautee them till they are soft. Then add some fiddleheads and continue cooking for a couple minutes. Add a clove of finely diced garlic and cook for another minute. Then add one good sized fresh tomato that has been diced. Add some fresh or dried basil, oregano, thyme and the cut up veggie chicken and let it simmer for a while. Use some of the pasta water to thin it out and help it cook. Use olive oil for your sauteeing and enjoy your meal. Just that easy.

Weekend Work
I have more time on my hands now, so expect to see more stuff I am crafting. This bad boy is finished and good to go. Black bean salad with lots of other good stuff in it. Taking advantage of a certain plate set.
These apple raspberry crisp cupcakes are so close to being finalized, I can almost taste it.
Summer tan starts now.

New Toys
I picked up some stuff I needed/wanted for the kitchen in the not so distant past. This one might be flipped to resemble a little something something. The Ukraine is strong.
These next two gems were picked up on crazy sale. 50% off means buy. End of story.

Expect big things if you're hungry.

Cupcake Maker
This is what was in store for a nice Sunday evening. If you weren't there...shame on you!
Earlier in the day I fixed myself up a nice little philly cheesesteak, vegan of course. I may have gone a little too hard with the vegenaise, but that happens sometimes. Anyone who knows what the most authentic ones taste like need to come and let me know if I'm on the right track.
This is what I will call a tasty prelude. Also, who wouldn't want to lick these?
My new gimmick, hocking deliciousness at shows. If you want to try some magic, get your ass out to a hardcore show.
There were a few cupcakes here today. A dozen lime w/ coconut whipped cream and a dozen cinnamon bun cupcakes. Click the pic.
Dude...they're all gone!
Funny that there was basically more cupcakes than merch sold at the show. Speaking of that...OH YEAH, there was a hardcore show happening here as well. Only pics of Grave Maker made it up here tonight. All the other bands ripped it though. It was good to see Bailey and Jon in town and the other dudes in GM.

Stay away from Jon's shirt...it's a scary situation. Have you seen him in a pic not rockin it?
Sorry bros, no pics of Withdrawal. Some brotherly love at least.
So that's it for now, but here's the deal. Bring money for food to hardcore shows from now on. I'm comin strapped with deliciousness. Peace.
Dude...they're all gone!
